Learning How to Live with love is the best lifestyle to adopt in your relationship. Why?
One problem I have observed with people and which we dearly pay for is that we tend to stop learning about ourselves.
Ask yourself this question, “How did I become as smart as I am today?”
The answer to that question is that it’s the degree of education we have acquired till date.
Upon graduation from school, many thank God in jubilation for being finally delivered from the rigors and rigidity of the western education in the vain hope that we have gotten everything that we need for the rest of our lives.
We forget that it was our education that made us better prepared for life than the man down the street who never had schooling opportunity.
We forget that the world is changing at an alarming rate and that the man who refuses to change will be left behind.
We forget that the day a man stops learning is the day he starts dying.
Lucius Seneca encourages thus: As long as you live, keep learning how to live. So friends, we can’t afford to stop learning any time soon and at the same time, we must cherish what we have learnt, holding it in high esteem.
It doesn’t matter how you learn, whether by reading, listening to audiobooks, doing that online course (whether paid or free) or attending that conference. Only make sure that you are not stagnant else you start stinking.
Now, learning covers all facets of life and there are people more skilled, competent and who are doing better than you and would be willing to hold your hands and show you better and efficient way of doing things.
Never believe that you’ve known all there is, empty your cup, be receptive and like Oliver Twist, ask for more.
Remember, As long as you live, keep learning how to live.
